Making your IM
What can I give it?
A website address, files, or both. It reads PDFs (brochures, capability statements, plans), Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx) and CSV price lists, and JPG, PNG or WebP photos and logos. Old .doc, .ppt and .xls files need saving in the newer format first.
My site has hundreds of pages. Will it read them all?
No, and it doesn't need to. It maps the menu and sitemap first, ticks the main pages and lets you add any others. Only the pages you keep are read.
Can it read a password-protected preview site?
Yes. Add the preview key or the site password when you start.
Does it make things up?
It writes from your material only. Any figure it can't find in your sources is flagged on the Checks tab so you can confirm it before you export.
How long does it take?
A few minutes to read and write, depending on how many pages and files you give it. Layout changes preview in a couple of seconds.
Design and brand
How does it get my brand right?
It measures the logo, colours, fonts, corner shapes and image style from your site, or from your documents if you upload them, and applies them to every page. You can adjust any of it on the Brand kit tab.
Can I change the layout?
Every page has several layouts plus background, photo crop and transition options, and you see each one rendered before choosing. You can also redesign a page or art-direct the whole IM.
Can I edit the copy?
Yes, every heading, figure, card and paragraph, plus the cover and contact details.
How much can I customise?
A lot. Every page has several layouts, four backgrounds and photo crop options; you can swap or upload photos, edit every word, add, remove and reorder pages, add statement and divider pages, redesign any page (three options each time) or art-direct the whole IM, and fine-tune the brand kit. Every change previews before you save.
Exports and the digital IM
What's in the export package?
A zip with the PDF in the format you chose and a folder holding the digital IM. Upload the folder to any web host or your own site and share the link.
Is the PDF print-ready?
Choose print quality with 3 mm bleed and crop marks and send it straight to your printer. Standard and email-size versions are there too.
What is the digital IM, exactly?
A slick online presentation of your IM: full screen, page transitions, animated text and photos, autoplay, an overview grid and swipe on phones. Buyers flick through it in the browser, no PDF viewer needed, and you can present it on a big screen.
Does it add links for me?
Yes, automatically. Phone numbers become tap-to-call, emails open a message, your website, enquiry page, 3D tours and lot explorers become buttons, and the contents page jumps to each section. They're pulled from your site and documents; you can edit any of them.
Do you host the digital IM?
The package is yours to host, so it never expires and there are no ongoing fees. Need us to host it or connect it to a CRM? Talk to CPM.
Payment and your data
How much is it?
$199 AUD inc. GST per IM, paid once through Stripe.
Do I need an account?
No. After paying you get a private studio link. Keep it, it's how you get back to your IM.
What happens to my files?
They're used to make your IM and kept for 90 days so you can edit and re-export, then deleted. Export packages are deleted 7 days after they're built and can be rebuilt any time within the 90 days.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. Play with the examples: switch layouts, backgrounds, paper sizes and digital transitions on real IMs made by the studio.
